Veterinary Emergency Group Marketing Coordinator in White Plains, New York

Who we are:

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is a rapidly growing, venture-backed veterinary emergency company with hospital locations across the USA. We are changing the face of emergency veterinary medicine with a ‘customer first’ mentality.

The Marketing Coordinator will facilitate the activity flow of the marketing team, collaborating with the team members and assisting in different projects. The candidate should be able to thrive in a supportive team environment that values collaboration, innovation, and leadership in all roles.

You can expect to:

  • Coordinate the moving pieces of all Marketing special projects including research, communication with vendors, ordering and delivery.

  • Assist with the organization of marketing related events (ie. seasonal pushes, team outings, and other activities).

  • Help with conferences and new hospital openings by handling travel arrangements, providing support throughout, organizing internal dinners and anything else needed.

  • Own the process of assembling influencer packages as well as other any marketing related gifts and physical mailers.

  • Manage our e-commerce platform, helping with requests, internal communication about new products or systems and functioning as a liaison between VEG and our partner.

  • Conduct any necessary research to determine potential marketing efforts.

  • Support marketing team with all day-to-day activities.


Required Knowledge/Skills:

  • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Extremely organized, adept at planning and follow up.

  • Extremely accountable and comfortable being proactive about asking questions and communicating updates or challenges.

  • The ability to prioritize, or ask for clarification of priorities, and perform tasks individually or as part of a team.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Interest and/or experience in startups is a huge plus.

  • Desire & willingness to immerse yourself in VEG culture and learn to be a “VEGgie!”

  • Passionate about animals and an aspiration to learn more about the veterinarian industry.

  • Enjoys working hard and getting the job done while having some laughs along the way.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or similar discipline.

  • 1 to 2 years of professional experience (including internships.


  • Position is based out of our Valhalla, NY office (Our office is currently based in Valhalla, NY, however, we’re moving to a new office in White Plains later in 2021).
