Veterinary Emergency Group Marketing Operations Manager in White Plains, New York

Who we are:

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is a rapidly growing, venture-backed veterinary emergency company with hospital locations across the USA. We are changing the face of emergency veterinary medicine with a ‘customer first’ mentality.

The Marketing Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our e-commerce platform. Being proactive in the addition of new products, being the liaison between the warehouse and our marketing team, as well as communicating with our local leadership regarding in-hospital products. This role will also own the Hubspot software user experience and assist with the execution of campaigns, as well as gather analytics from each and share recommendations to the responsible project lead. The role also includes handling our marketing materials platform, updating artwork and making sure they are available for each one of our locations. The manager will provide analytical reports on the different pieces of marketing as well as be responsible for the onboarding process of any new member of the marketing team.

You can expect to:

  • Own the overall management of VEG’s internal and external e-commerce platform, the VEG Store, by receiving and approving purchase orders, keeping it up to date with new items available, charity of the month, seasonal designs as well as report on spend per department and more.

  • Coordinate photoshoot of new apparel by working with VEG’s culture team to focus on diversity representation and partner up with our design team for any needed artwork for current or upcoming programs and initiatives to be featured in the store.

  • Compile a list of items suggested by our VEGgies and proactively explore creation of these new products, communicating quotes from vendors and making decisions in which items to add, when to do so and who those should be available to.

  • Coordinate internal contests on our intranet to collect innovative designs, communicating with our design team and the warehouse in order to make them available for purchase.

  • Own, maintain and train other teams in the HubSpot software. Work with our recruitment marketing, conference manager and referral marketing leads as well as our talent team to execute campaigns, maintain email lists, etc.

  • Gather call forwarding system data and report on its analytics and provide NPS.

  • Evaluate new technologies to improve and optimize marketing team performance

Requirements

Required Knowledge/Skills:

  • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Extremely organized, adept at planning and follow up.

  • Extremely accountable and comfortable being proactive about asking questions and communicating updates or challenges.

  • The ability to prioritize, or ask for clarification of priorities, and perform tasks individually or as part of a team.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Interest and/or experience in startups is a huge plus.

  • Desire & willingness to immerse yourself in VEG culture and learn to be a “VEGgie!”

  • Passionate about animals and an aspiration to learn more about the veterinarian industry.

  • Enjoys working hard and getting the job done while having some laughs along the way.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or similar discipline.

  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience.
