Job Description: The Pepsi Beverages North America (PBNA), our beverages manufacturing, sales, and distribution operating sector in the United States and Canada is seeking a Director of Sales Planning - CSD/Energy for the Commercialization function.

When it comes to non-carbonated soft drinks, we have world-class equities across every category - bubly water; Tropicana and Naked Juice; Lipton, Pure Leaf and Brisk Tea; Mountain Dew Energy and Rockstar Energy; Gatorade sports drinks and Starbucks ready to drink coffee. In addition to our core powerhouse brands and products, we are continually launching successful innovation and expanding our product portfolio. Examples of recent product launches include bubly sparkling water, Mountain Dew Zero, Gatorade Zero, Pepsi Vanilla, Pure Leaf Herbals, and Starbucks Nitro.

The Commercial Sales Organization leads strategic planning and directs national account retail selling for the beverages division. The organization brings strategic focus and enhanced communication by providing sales and promotional support to PepsiCo’s national customer accounts and bottlers. They seek to develop the beverage category and identify key priorities for increasing sales.

The Customer team includes general managers who operate sales teams that are directly responsible for developing the annual account strategy and operating plan, delivering the sales P&L, and managing relations with our largest and most strategic customers. The Commercial team serves as a conduit between sales and marketing teams to ensure that innovation receives the appropriate financial and program support.

What you can expect: The Sales Planning Director - CSDs & Energy role will be responsible for leading the strategic sales planning agenda for our CSD and Energy portfolios across PBNA. This includes leading the development and implementation of all sales planning to ensure overall success across the categories as it relates to innovation and programming throughout the year. This role involves leading a high-performing team of Commercial Planning Managers and a great partnership with key cross-functional teams including brand, supply chain, finance, revenue management and more.

Key accountabilities of this role include the following: \*Leading CSD & Energy Portfolio Commercial Sales Strategy in partnership with cross-functional partners for brand Pepsi, Mt. Dew, CSD Flavors, PEP Energy Portfolio, Power of One, Long-Term Packaging and Innovation \*Leading a team of commercial managers through the Perfect Launch process for innovation and programs for CSD/Energy brands \*Leading the development of brand sales materials inclusive of sell decks, execution tools, and launch readiness decks \*Leading the forecasting for innovation in partnership with cross-functional partners (divisions, customers, brands, finance) \*Collaborating with brand marketing, Finance, Sales Strategy, customers, and other Sector and division partners on short and long-term strategies \*Creating AOP (annual operating plan), First Look, and 100 Days of Summer National Content, and partnering with Divisions on content \*Partnering with CSD Commercial Senior Manager to lead bi-weekly Division Commercial Connects, Period Operating Reviews, CCO/Division Forecast reviews, and other relevant strategic planning forums \*Partnering with Sales Strategy, Brand, Activatr, and Perfect Store on execution strategy inclusive of tools development, Period Priorities, and communication across categories \*Driving weekly post-program/innovation scorecard analysis, and action planning against the results \*Staying apprised of brand insights, economic conditions, retail industry and consumer trends in order to translate this data into sales and channel strategies

Qualifications/Requirements \*Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred \*7+ years of experience in customer management including category management and calendar management expertise \*Sales analytics \*Field sales experience and/or Supply planning experience \*This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States \#LI-USA
