Manually plant, cultivate, and harvest apples & peaches. Use hand tools, operate tractors, tractor drawn machinery, and self propelled machinery to plow, harvest crops. Harvest fruit by hand, yields, or costs. Apples injured by bruising during picking shall not exceed 2%(WNY) for processing. Productivity must at least 6 bins (120 bushels) fresh market and/or 8 bins (160 bushes) processing fruit per day. Employer will furnish to workers, without cost, all tools, and equipment required in the preformance of the duties assigned. Workers should report for work with their own suitible work clothing. Field temperatures may range below 0 to 90 + degrees (f) with possible wet experience in performing tasks described in this order.
Requirements:
- Workers referred must have a minimum of 1 month experience in performing tasks described.
- Employer will train.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures
- Repetitive movements, extensive pushing/pulling/sitting/walking, frequent stooping.
