Overview of Position: The Creative Content and Sign Shop Manager is responsible for the tactical implementation and/or coordination of the departments’ graphic design, videography and sign shop functions. Working with the strategic guidance of the Director of Marketing and Sales, and in coordination with the Marketing team, attends to various projects and scheduled tasks with the primary goal being the timely, professional, creative and on-budget execution of such. A working partnership and coordination of efforts (and in some situations supervision) with your own and with other department members will be, in many cases, essential toward completing your goals.

Job Duties: The list below best represents many of the tasks you will be asked to perform during your employment at Windham Mountain. This list of duties is not intended to represent all of the tasks you may be asked to perform.

  • Ensure that resort Interactive content is attractive, on brand and accurate.

  • Manage all sign making and placement needs.

  • Create and distribute event flyers and internal advertisements.

  • Plan and schedule projects, in-season and off-season.

  • Work with Director of Marketing and Sales to coordinate all marketing initiatives for internal merchandising profit centers to our guests utilizing, but not limited to, interactive signage, placed signs, employee awareness, remarketing techniques, pre-arrival teasers, social media tools (twitter, text marketing, etc.)

  • Participate in expense budget planning and implementation in accordance with company policy.

  • Attend various workshops, classes and seminars to increase knowledge and deployment of Interactive tactics.

  • Hiring and oversight of vendors for various marketing, sales and events initiatives.

  • Work with the Marketing Manager to create special offers, packages and new products that bring in new revenue, without sacrificing existing revenue streams. Retire, retool or replace underperforming products.

  • Place expirations on information that is time sensitive and ensure their proper removal.

  • Oversee the Search Engine Optimization strategy and tactics with the Interactive Agency.

  • Constantly take and solicit photo and video content and post regularly (frequency to be determined) to our website and social media outlets.

  • Working with the Marketing Team to co-manage Social media outlets.

  • Special event support – both development of marketing and signage materials for events as well as assisting in execution of events

  • Travel and attend travel shows and community events as needed

  • Other projects and duties as assigned by Director of Marketing & Sales
