Description

Overview of Position: Tavern 23 Bus staff are responsible for efficiently cleaning and resetting tables, assisting servers however needed including running food to tables. They are expected to contribute to the service standards of delivering Above & Beyond guest experiences with helpful and friendly service and cleanliness.

Job Qualifications:

  • Be self-motivated and willing to take the initiative

  • Be comfortable interacting with both co-workers and guests in a friendly and helpful manner

  • Be able to handle a stressful, noisy and crowded work environment

  • Be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and to remain standing for an entire work shift

  • Be able to serve both beverage and food quickly, courteously, and efficiently

  • Be able to navigate congested areas with trays and servicewear

  • Be abe to assist multiple tables simultaneously without confusion and work cooperatively with service, bar and kitchen staff

Job Duties: The list below best represents many of the tasks you will be asked to perform at some time during your employment at Windham Mountain. This list of duties is not intended to represent all of the tasks you may be asked to perform that may change from time to time.

  • Complete familiarization of the menu

  • Bus tables and reset properly and efficiently

  • Set up and maintain bus station; ensure bus station remains clean, neat and presentable

  • Break down station at end of shift, dry flatware etc.

  • Keep work areas clean and neat at all times

  • Follow directions from manager, hostess/host, servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, etc. promptly and effeciently

  • Assist co-workers in all ways possible

  • At all times be helpful, friendly and courteous to guests

Work Schedule and Conditions: We are in the business of providing Above & Beyond guest experiences. Traditionally our busy periods are during weekends and holidays which you will be expected to work. You can also expect to be asked to work extra hours or days on occasion, especially during the holiday periods.

Dress Code:

  • Name Tag must always be worn - no exceptions.

  • Must be neat and clean -nails clean: overall approachable appearance.

  • Black pant (worn at or above the hips), uniform shirt (issued), apron (issued), black shoes, & black belt.

  • Clothing items should not be wrinkled, frayed, worn, transparent, or too revealing.
