WNY. YMCA Buffalo Niagara. Part-Time After-School Lead Teachers and Teacher Assistants. Angola, Hamburg, Lancaster, Orchard Park, West Seneca, Buffalo, Amherst, Clarence,, Kenmore, Lewiston, Lockport, Tonawanda (Before & After School).

SCHEDULE: Monday through Thursday, 2pm-6pm.
Positions are currently available; commitment through June 2024. Full-time, six to eight-week summer positions will be available July and August, 2024.
Key Responsibilities: Lead Teacher: Works with Site Coordinator to plan lessons/activities, and implement enrichment activities for children grades K-8. Provides high-quality enrichment opportunities for participants while ensuring their safety, development, growth and general well-being.
Teacher Assistant: Supports Lead Teachers in all aspects of program implementation and student oversight.
Qualifications: Lead Teacher: Associate or Bachelor Degree in Education, Social Work or related-field preferred. NYSED Certification preferred; two-years youth development experience required. Teacher Assistant: Must be at least 18 years of age, high school diploma or GED required; one-year youth development experience required.
Pay Range: Teacher Assistant: $15.50-$16.50/hr. Lead Teacher: $19-$20/hr.
