JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Bi-Lingual Administrative Assistant (Dayspring Community Center)
FLSA: Non-Exempt
DEPARTMENT: Community Services
REPORTS TO: Community Center Director
SALARY: $40,000.00 -$45,000.00
SUMMARY: Provides administrative support to the Dayspring Community Center.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet and assist participants, families, and visitors who enter the Dayspring Community Center
Interact regularly with program participants and perform outreach calls to existing families
Answer phone calls while providing excellent customer service and program information
Sign In/Out Dayspring program participants and visitors of Dayspring Community Center
Assist Youth Service Program Coordinator with maintaining an attendance at front desk at entry time of after school program/summer program participants
Keep an updated daily visitor control for parents/guardians to sign out children at the end of the day for after school program/summer program
Assist on-site CCM security to help with visitors’ names and titles/orgs. for daily shift report
Perform daily data entry and database maintenance including verifying that all child and teen participants are registered to enter Dayspring and all personal information is correct including emergency contact information
Assist with the preparation of monthly reports including attendance of all Dayspring programs
Keep the front entrance monitor screen updated with all Dayspring program information and upcoming events
Assist Dayspring program staff with purchase request forms and ordering of office supplies while maintaining Operations supply inventory including toners for all printers on site
Ordering and maintain inventory of snacks and drinks for Dayspring Youth Services & Operations
Responsible for receiving/distribution of all mail, correspondence, and supplies
Follow COVID-19 screening and assessment processes
May perform other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Associates degree with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative position or equivalent; ability to use Microsoft Word for Windows, as well as knowledge of spreadsheets and database programs using Microsoft Excel. Knowledge and/or experience with CRM Software preferred. Excellent verbal, writing and organizational skills. Must be flexible to work some evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
