RECRUITMENT MANAGER - PART TIME

JOB SUMMARY

Overview Recruitment Manager:

To develop, supervise and maintain procedures necessary to recruit volunteers for FSSY volunteer programs throughout Westchester County including but not limited to mentors for school year academic support programs and Summer Reading Buddies.

Responsibilities

. Identify sources of referrals and recruit through networking and outreach to community based . organizations, churches and synagogues, schools, colleges, and community leaders, elected officials and others . Develop and maintain partnerships with other nonprofits to leverage recruiting capabilities such as with RSVP of Westchester and Volunteer New York! . Outreach, recruit, and onboard volunteers . Maintain volunteer recruitment, placement and tracking procedures Responsible for all communication with prospects from 1st contact to start date as well as periodic follow up . Maintain information in volunteer management platform and other platforms

Liaise regularly with program staff to insure successful placement of volunteers

Develop and deliver volunteer training orientations

. Complete grantor required reports . Invite appropriate elected officials and community leaders to FSSY events and programs . Organize volunteer appreciation events

Requirements:

. Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills

. Must have great organizational skills

. Must be comfortable with follow up and pursuing leads

. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated

. Strong computer and platform skills including but not limited to:

. Microsoft Office

. Google Drive

. Zoom Video Platform

. Volunteer database software

. Signup Genius or other scheduling platform

. Constant Contact email platform

. Canva

. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube
