We are currently looking for a Warehouse Associate to work as part of our New York City Warehouse Operations team at Yonkers.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone keen to grow their career in a fast-paced, high-performing team. You will be responsible for receiving, sorting, organizing, stocking, shipping, and warehousing activities.
What you will focus on:
Loads and unloads products from delivery trucks and vendor shipments
Stores all products in designated location
Unload and load furniture orders which will require manually moving large, heavy goods and staging them
Work with the warehouse team to prep and repair home furnishing products
Attention to detail is a must including understanding labels and matching labels with product
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance within working environment and with all equipment and tools.
Maintains stock and merchandise area, keeping it organized and clean while following safety standards
Repairing broken furniture
Ability to become certified on material handling equipment, including an electric pallet jack
Performing other related duties or special projects as assigned by warehouse team leader
What we are looking for:
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Experience operating an electric pallet jack is preferred.
Physical Requirements:Lift, lower, push and pull all furniture sizes up to and in excess of 100 lbs.
Experience with operating a hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
Competitive compensation (Salary Range: $35,000 - $42,500 + Annual Bonus up to 15% of Base Salary)
