Your Role and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a strong Project Manager/ Data Insights Lead who is highly analytical, has a passion for data, can challenge status quo, and has a passion for people to join our Research Talent Programs Team.
This role is a high-visibility role where you will be managing relationships up through the executive level, consulting our internal clients on where they are not meeting their goals from a recruiting perspective leveraging data and insights, will focus on process improvement and automation, and will have the opportunity to lead large scale events during our summer intern program season.
This individual will create dashboards bi-weekly to hold our internal clients accountable to hiring specific goals
Work with large sets of data to driving meaningful insights and can form a narrative using the data
Will partner with executives globally to discuss hiring goals and outcomes
Create and lead presentations using data to share a story around hiring within IBM Research
Will lead scrum meetings with our recruiting team to remove roadblocks and act as coach as needed
Will help lead and facilitate intern events during the summer intern program season
Will evaluate current processes and implement process improvement using project management methodologies including but not limited to agile
Manage relationships at varying levels globally and across the IBM organization
Act as a liaison between our talent acquisition team and the IBM Research organization
Is comfortable with context-switching in a fast-paced environment
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Strong analytics and data background; can drive meaningful insights and quickly present the data to high level executive audiences
Experience with a vast number of data tools, including but not limited to the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoints, etc.)
Demonstrates the ability to create efficiencies and implement process improvement
Experience planning large scale events
Possess excellent communication skills
Knowledge of recruiting and hiring best practices
Ability to effectively communicate across several teams and stakeholders
3-5 years of project management or consulting experience
Candidates must be willing to work in Yorktown Heights (preferred location); Almaden, CA or Cambridge, MA
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Ability to code and manage large sets of data
Machine learning techniques
Programming language(s) such as Python
Human Resources, Marketing, or Communications major/background
